- Use real photos of yourself
- Be honest about who you are
- Share genuine interests
- Update profile when needed
❌ Don't:
- Use photos of others
- Lie about age or location
- Catfish or deceive
- Create fake accounts
2. Be Respectful
✅ Do:
- Treat everyone with kindness
- Respect boundaries and consent
- Accept rejection gracefully
- Give graceful closure
- Respect different backgrounds
❌ Don't:
- Harass, bully, or threaten
- Send unsolicited explicit content
- Make discriminatory comments
- Body shame or insult
- Pressure for dates or photos
- Ghost people!
3. Keep It Safe
✅ Do:
- Meet in public places
- Use Trusted Contacts feature
- Use Safety Check-in
- Trust your instincts
- Report suspicious behavior
- Block uncomfortable users
❌ Don't:
- Share personal info too quickly
- Send money or financial info
- Share explicit photos
- Meet at private locations first
- Ignore red flags
4. No Ghosting Policy
We're serious about our No Ghosting Guarantee:
- Use the graceful goodbye feature if not interested
- Respond to messages within 48 hours (or we'll nudge you)
- Be honest about your feelings
- Give closure, even if uncomfortable
Remember: Our AI detects inactivity and will prompt closure. It's easier to be honest upfront!
5. Content Guidelines
✅ Acceptable Content:
- Clear face shots, full body photos
- Interests and hobbies
- What you're looking for
- Your values and beliefs
- Genuine voice messages
❌ Prohibited Content:
- Nudity or sexually explicit images
- Violence or graphic content
- Hate speech or slurs
- Illegal activities
- Spam or advertising
- Contact info in profiles
- Minors (under 18)
6. Dating Etiquette
First Dates:
- Show up on time
- Be present (put phone away)
- Be respectful (even if no spark)
- Split the bill (unless agreed)
- Follow up (use debrief feature)
Communication:
- Respond within 48 hours
- Be clear about intentions
- Ask before calling
- Respect "no"
7. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use TrueYouMatch.ai for:
- Prostitution or escort services
- Selling products or services
- Multi-level marketing (MLM)
- Business recruitment
- Promoting other dating apps
- Data collection
- Spamming or bots
- Illegal activities
8. Reporting & Enforcement
Report users for:
- Harassment or abuse
- Fake profiles or scams
- Inappropriate content
- Safety concerns
- Guideline violations
Consequences:
- First violation: Warning
- Second violation: Temporary suspension
- Third violation: Permanent ban
- Serious violations: Immediate ban + legal action if needed
9. Appeals
If your account was suspended or banned and you believe it was in error, contact us at appeals@trueyoumatch.ai within 30 days.
10. Updates
We may update these guidelines. Continued use means you accept the updated guidelines.
